Cisco vs. Microsoft UC solutions

Network World has an article that discusses microsoft's and cisco's approach to unified communications. Overall I think that Cisco offers a better strategy than Microsoft primarily because they are also offering hardware based solutions. I also think that Cisco's products are not biased towards one specific operating system which allows companies like Apple into the enterprise network.
